Thomas M. Menino Park

This amazing, fully accessible and inclusive playground, located in the former Charlestown Navy Yard just steps from the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, is named in honor of Boston’s former, long-time Mayor.  Fully accessible in design and surfacing, this play area includes play components high in sensory value with tons of sliding, rocking, balancing, spinning and swinging opportunities.
