The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp

Founded by actor Paul Newman in 1988, this camp is dedicated to giving seriously ill children and families invaluable support and an amazing camp experience together. In creating this one-of-a-kind playground, children develop social relationships, areas of exploration, and enhanced physical and cognitive skills.  The goal was to create a space that would offer a higher level of inclusive play with a design philosophy that is influenced by the tenets of Universal Design.  Our sensory-rich playgrounds allow children the ability to enter a playground and instantly be engaged.  The custom treehouse design provides an easily accessible focal point and melds nature with whimsy.
