Stoughton High School

This custom shade structure at Stoughton High School is a work of art that defies being compared to most standard shade structure designs. The monoslope has a five-foot overall roof pitch and only one side, of four, is curved. The curved side is the only side with an overhang which creates a dramatic, eye-catching effect. Resembling a ship’s sail with battens, this design could stand alone as a trellis but includes a metal roof with tongue and groove sub-roof. While certainly functional for keeping out of the elements of sun and rain, a shade structure can be an expression of sculpture. They can serve as a backdrop for community activities and social gatherings. Poligon Shade Structures offer endless design opportunities.
