South Shore YMCA

This newly designed Outdoor Aquatic Center at the South Shore YMCA is amazing!  The state-of-the-art facility includes a huge new playground consisting of the new SmartPlay Summit Structure, shown here.  The Summit features a faceted mountaintop design that includes lots of activities in a compact space.  Using a variety of materials on the design and to help stimulate all of the senses, this playground features ropes, digifuse designs, recycled plastic lumber, pine tree post toppers, and glass fiber reinforced concrete.  The Surface America TurfTop playground surfacing is a perfect choice for low maintenance and full accessibility.  The artificial turf does not require infill due to it’s shorter pile and fully adhered SBR base.
