Sheehan-Basquil Park

A lot of play is packed into this recently renovated space which includes a new splashpad, site furnishings and playground. The site features a dramatic landform for ramp access to the playstructure, a hillside slide and challenging rope-net climbers. The largest feature of the splashpad is the 21-foot tall Superwave. This play feature lets children predict and anticipate when the turbine will spill its massive water splash, creating waves of excitement. The renovations to this play area boost engagement, prolong stay, increase return visits and promote inclusion
