Hanson Pines Park

One of two new playgrounds in Rochester, Hanson Pines Park is a great example of a sensory-rich play space.  Designed for a wide age-range of  children, this play area combines not only playstructures for 2 to 5  and 5 to 12 ages but also a great assortment of free-standing pieces that offer inclusive benefits.  Essential play benefits and experiences include musical play, balancing, crawling, rocking, spinning and bouncing.

One of the most important aspects to any inclusive playground is ease of travel.  Poured in Place surfacing throughout the playground is one of the most valuable features to any child or care-giver with mobility issues.  It truly helps to balance the opportunity for equality in the playground.
