Groff Park

An extensive renovation of the Groff Park play area includes an inclusive playground, a side variety of shade structures, benches, tables and a new recirculating splashpad to replace a 1950s wading pool. 

The Amherst Planning Department, in collaboration with Berkshire Design Group, worked to create a state-of-the-art recreation area that is appropriately sized for this 14-acre multi-use park.  This facility is a true example of an outdoor space that has something for every age.
