Griffin Park

An already established and well attended park in Windham needed a space that would be great for kids of all ages and abilities. Utilizing donations and ARPA funding, this playground features forty-four different play events, all accessible at ground level.  While accessibility was of the utmost importance, designing with sensory needs in mind was paramount.  Every standard Landscape Structures sensory panel was included as well as a Communication Sign, musical instruments, a We-Go-Round Spinner, playhouses and a Roller Table, which provides deep muscle pressure. This is truly a play space that allows children and their families to GET there, PLAY there, and STAY there.
