Brightwood-Lincoln Elementary School

This 11′ 5″ x 100′ cantilevered covered walkway is more than just a passageway – it’s a thoughtful, functional space designed with student’s comfort and safety in mind.  Its extended cantilever provides ample sheltered coverage, keeping children dry on rainy days and shaded during sunny afternoons, while the open design maintains visibility and natural airflow.  Integrated along the shade structure is 80 linear feet of backless bench seating, offering flexible spots for rest, social interaction, or informal learning outdoors.
