Frederick Douglass Bandstand at Lynn Commons

Situated on the spacious Lynn Commons, this bandstand dates back to the 1890’s and has long been the center stage for thousands of concerts over the years.

The extensive renovation to the bandstand and surrounding grounds included the addition of the DuMor custom radial benches seen here.  Manufactured at various radiuses and lengths, the benches are situated in semi-circles in which the bandstand is always the center viewpoint.
